An interactive way of networking opportunities with fellow dental nurses, members of BADN Executive Committee, and other special guests.

The purpose of these meetings is to offer you the latest information, and the opportunity to network with other dental nurses across the United Kingdom, and chat with our BADN President, Jacqui Elsden and members of the BADN Executive Committee and staff. In addition, a special speaker will provide valuable insights regarding a specific topic each month.

This month's session will welcome Jennifer da Silva of Parliament Hill, providers of "BADN Rewards", BADN's membership benefits scheme. Jennifer will outline the benefits available under the scheme, and how to make best use of them – it is estimated that BADN members can, with judicious use of the Rewards scheme, save around £470 per year*.

Jennifer da Silva provides expert account management for a selection of Parliament Hill’s portfolio of 90 + key clients. She works with clients to help to improve their membership recruitment, engagement and retention activities for their organisation. Her client-centric role requires her to help clients achieve their KPI's, provide data analysis and consultancy on a regular basis.

Jennifer provides professional telephone support for client's members on the Parliament Hill managed benefits package, hosted on a dedicated website. She also work with clients on their communications plan for each year, supplying tailored and targeted content for multi-channel communication campaigns for her client's members. Working closely with all her clients, Jennifer provides quarterly reviews and updates, to ensure that her clients and their members are receiving an outstanding experience.

CPD

This session offers a minimum of 30 minutes FREE CPD. In order to receive a certificate, the attendee must be:

  • Present at all times during a speaker's presentation
  • Have a camera turned ON throughout the whole presentation

Aims & Objectives

  • To discuss the professional benefits available to Dental Nurses which includes a Professional Indemnity and Tax Refund Service.
  • To discuss the health & wellbeing, shopping, motoring, insurance, business, advice, travel and experiences offers available to members through BADN Rewards.

Learning Outcomes

  • Attendees will gain understanding of the benefits of membership of their professional association
  • Attendees will gain an insight to what benefits and services are offered as part of the membership package and how to make most of it to help save money.

  • This presentation meets the GDC's development outcome D.

The Coffee Catch-up sessions are open to all dental nurses, BADN members and non-members. It is FREE to attend however, spaces are limited to 50 attendees for this session.

Once registered a confirmation email will be sent to you. An Invitation Zoom Link along with any other relevant information will be sent to all attendees via email a day before the event.
