If you are a Full Member with Cover, you will get an email from Trafalgar Risk Management 30 days before the date of your renewal (and reminders 14 days before and 7 days before).  This email includes a link which will take you direct to your renewal.

If you haven’t received this email, check your spam/junk folders.  If you cant find the email, you can still renew by going to and clicking on “My Trafalgar” in the top right hand corner.  You will need your email address and password (which was sent to you when you joined in your welcome e-mail).  If you cant remember your password, you can reset it by clicking on “Reset my password” – but only click on it once!  Please do not phone the BADN office about your password – we dont have access to it!

Once you are logged in to My Trafalgar, click on the “Renew my policy” button and follow the prompts – this will renew your insurance cover and your BADN membership.  Please note:  dont tick the “Resident in the Channel Isles” box unless you are actually living in the Channel Isles as this will pause your renewal process….. Please make sure you read all the instructions and questions carefully and check your answers are correct before proceeding to the next step.

July and August are particularly busy times for renewals, so once you have completed your on-line renewal, please be patient – we process all renewals in the order in which they are received, and will get your renewal letter/membership card to you as soon as possible.  Your membership number will remain the same.  Please do not ring us to check on the progress of your renewal, as this just slows down the process!

If you have a specific query/problem, please call Adam on 01253 338364 and leave a voice mail message stating clearly your name, BADN membership number, specific query or problem, and a daytime contact number or, preferably, email address.  We will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you are a Student, Associate, or Full Member without Cover, you cannot yet renew on line – you will get a renewal letter from us about a month before your renewal is due with instruction on how to renew.
