Campaign for Tax Relief on CPD Costs: copy of our initial letter to HMRC, a copy of David Gauke’s reply, and a form letter for you to personalize and send to HMRC (enclosing the BADN Briefing Note and the BADN Salary Survey) and to your local MP, demanding that CPD costs are made tax allowable

Registered Dental Nurse colleagues who do not yet benefit from membership of their professional association can now join BADN as Full Members with Insurance Cover quickly and easily online at www.badn.org.uk/sign-up. Those who already have adequate indemnity cover in place may join as Full Members without Insurance Cover – student, overseas, retired dental nurses and those not longer working in dental nursing may join as Associate Members. Anyone who has been a BADN member for 10 years or more and who holds the City & Guilds Licentiate in Dental Nursing is eligible to become a BADN Fellow.

Indemnity Insurance: When you join BADN or renew your membership and insurance online (applies to Full Members with Insurance Cover only) you are sent a confirmation email w hich outlines what happens next and includes your login details to the My Trafalgar/Client section of the TRM website which will enable you to manage your indemnity account – you can amend your contact details if/when required, increase your scope of cover, manage your passwords and more. Policy wordings and Summary of Cover are also available here. Your insurance and membership documentation will be forwarded to you in the post by BADN once payment has been received. PLEASE READ THESE DOCUMENTS AND KEEP THEM IN A SAFE PLACE. For information on how to make a claim, click here
If you are an Associate Member, of a Full Member Without Cover, you do not have indemnity cover through BADN. Full Members without Cover should ensure they have adequate cover in place elsewhere. Any Registered Dental Nurses who are still Associate Members should contact the BADN office to amend their membership.
